socialism that is the SEC. Clemson has shown that one school, no matter how allegedly bad the rest of their conference is, can rise up and dominate college football. When we relied on the BCS and AP voters that wasn't the case. Now the importance of how good the rest of the conference is doesn't carry the same weight. We don't have to chant ACC, ACC, ACC and hope all our other conference members do well (although I do this because of the SEC crap) in order to achieve success. The fear among the SEC and ESPN is that SEC schools will wake up to that realization one day and their whole narrative, which is communist in nature, will collapse. When I watch the South Carolinas and Ole Miss' chant SEC, SEC, SEC I think of the proletariat cheering on the bourgeoisie.

Great analogy.
I point to ACC basketball dominance. I've NEVER heard Clemson fans make excuses for our lack of basketball success on a "tough ACC schedule", or taking credit for Duke's, UNC's, UVA's, etc...basketball championships.
SEC fans really are dumb that way.

You could consider any Conference affiliation socialist in nature since the gains are spread across all. But then why is everybody upset that Notre Dame doesn’t join a conference?

and much actual representative of ESPiN and the SEC evil relationship. ESiN proclaimed the SEC is the god of football during the BCS system when the relationship was solidified. For 15 years not they loudly proclaim everyone should bow down and worship at the feet of the SEC.
You are accurate in Clemson upsetting their applecart but the strengths and weakness of the conference don't play as big a part as Clemson owning the SEC outright. It defies their proclamation that the SEC is the best. We waltz into Bama and get the best player, we stroll through the shadow of Deaf Valley and pick out their best, same with Tennessee, Florida and Georgia.
If Miss, Arkansas or Kentucky had good players who knew how to behave we'd take them too.

I was pondering something similar to this yesterday. Paul Finebaum is the epitome of the establishment media. He’s mad that Dabo and all of Clemson has the audacity to even challenge him and the rest of the establishment. We should know our place.
