Clemson’s game two starter

Clemson says it’s going with left-hander Geoffrey Gilbert (3-1, 4.71 ERA) on the mound today (3 p.m.). It is his first career collegiate start.

I really like this decision. Last week he changed starters up and it didn’t work out but I feel like the moment won’t be to big for Gilbert. Hopefully I’m right. Hoffman responded well by not starting when he had to come in the first inning. Hopefully we can turn to him later in the game if needed.
