Clemson vs. UGA the X- factor

Aug 23, 2013, 9:39 AM

Something has occurred to me based upon a lot of feedback I'm hearing from people back home in SC. Apparently, there has been a lot of rain. I have a feeling this is going to turn into a slippery ball battle in the trenches affair. We probably won't be seeing the high-flying shootout a lot of people predicted. Also, something tells me we are going to have a scary front seven that is up to the task. Let's see though. People in SC: is it looking like it'll be raining on August 31?

of rain with a high of 85.

Having said that, I looked at a stat recently about rainfall in SC and our average annual total is around 32 inches.

Since January 1st we already have 45 inches. I guess i'm saying, I don't like the odds of staying dry.

I'm concerned as well. Death Valley will be rocking as long as it's close though, so we do have that advantage.

If there is a dry place in Clemson

it will be the field in Death Valley. The only way the field conditions will be affected is if there is rain on that day. I'm sure the drainage system under the field is second to none and the rain the past months won't affect the game. I guess we just need to pray for a couple of dry days leading up to and on Aug. 31.

There is a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms the day before. Hopefully that doesn't get pushed back any farther...
