Clemson stops recruiting 5 star DT Tim Settle

I just found out that Clemson stopped recruting Tim settle after he admitted publicly we were his #1 a few months back! I would love to find out why? Anyone know?

JUCO bound. I've heard that he has A LOT of work to do in the classroom. That's the only reason that's acceptable because he's a tremendous prospect.

Yea rivals for sure! I hate that! Maybe we decided to only take one defensive tackle and Albert Huggins is a silent commit! Thats my guess

Kid has a handler, everyone has cooled on him. There were rumors of this when he named clemson #1, but many posters argued it. Im glad to see teams turn away from that. We (USC) stopped recruiting him a while ba k but we were never really in it for him.

I'm hearing that his father is like Carl Lawson's and RN's mother. As you know Clemson doesn't play that game. We don't get into bidding wars like that. Especially not for a kid that would most likely have to go the prep school route to make it in anyway.
