CLEMSON RANKED # 1 IN NATION

i usually dont give attentions to the pools but alas, i must type this just so everyone understands the logistics. i mean, im just saying, i know 5.0 doesnt win a national n all that but bare with me as i reiterate...........to the national poll casters........ what has clemson done that the four teams in front of them aint did? michigan, bama, georgia who barely escaped misso? clemson has beat back to back top 15 top 10, wake and state. i just had to type because its reality looking at them , should they not have clemson at # 1. that being said. polls now dont win champs but maybe like,show some maybe, i dont know, respect to us? or keep us as underdogs. just saying if this was math.........ok i will stop.

You don't understand. When Clemson loses, Clemson was overrated. But since Clemson seldom loses, there has to be a fall back that the ACC sucks and therefore Clemson has not really done anything. Just ask Finebaum even though he confidently claimed Clemson would lose to Wake becase it was vastly overrated. They love to have it both ways, or indeed every which way.

Our defense last night looked like the great Clemson defenses but we have a long way to go before we say we are number 1. The OL, defense and Will Shipley really shined and DJ at times. We still can't seem to throw the long passes consistently and DJ over threw Beaux Collins not once but twice. He looks a lot better but to be put up with Georgia and Alabama we have to throw the ball downfield consistently. With that said it was a great win at home even with the lousy ACC referees.
