Long time to signing day...

Waaaaay early. If we power through this season...

...like many expect, there is no doubt more recruits will give us a second, third, tenth look. Winning makes a big difference.

Every time the recruiting thing comes up its always Clemson missed out but never read anyone saying that Clemson isn't taking but maybe 1 or 2 more recruits, so we really don't know how hard Clemson was really recruiting these guys considering they are full at RB and would probably take 1 more receiver. Now I am not saying we would take either one of those dudes because they are probably over sign guys but lets not beat our selves up here we know were not taking but a few more and I think the D-line is the most important for those few remaining spots for this recruiting year. We still have a lot of recruiting targets out there and after this season I can see a lot of those guys that have committed somewhere else to want to jump on board they had just better hope it isn't to late for them...

We just missed on these guys

It happens. the Hood ship sailed awhile back as Pearman, regardless of what Mickey seems to think, is a poor recruiter. Fedora is whipping him left and right, so is VT and TN. Hope Dabo sees that he needs to be moved to another area but it is doubtful.

Leonard was a miss; although he doesn't seem to be an elite DE, we needed him more than FSU, as it the only glaring weakness in our recruiting.

Quinn was always a stretch but the staff did a great job getting him so close to committing. VERY tough to get a top-flight player out of LA if LSU wants him. I wish him well for the 2 passes he sees a game.

Clemson pretty much has this class wrapped up

We are fishing for big fish, and they are hard to catch. We are going to miss on a bunch more, but as long as we keep our class together, we are in good shape.

We will sign 20+***

That's a leap on Hood

He didn't want to be in Indiana due to proximity to family. That doesn't mean he's going to pick the absolute closest school with a football team... Clemson seems like a good alternate to me.
