Hey guess what? Tony Elliot s still looking for DJ to have a break=out game it's insane. He can't pass, to slow to run. can't read a defense. Come on when will he wake up and smell the coffee. He's losing all all since of credibility. You can only blame everybody else for so long. You can coach him up on the sideline all you want but when he goes back in the game and does the same thing he's been doing there is something else going on.
And what's he supposed to do, conjure up a new QB in the basement? We have who we have. Griping about it won't change it. Maybe DJ will become great again (pretty dang good last year before his parents got divorced, ask Notre Dame). Maybe he will leave. Maybe Cade will take his spot.
But this week have Wake Forest. Get behind him, or get off the bandwagon. Real fans ride with the team good and bad, ups and downs.
Definitely been a head scratcher. After watching DJ at Notre Dame and Boston College, QB was the last position I concerned with. Along with all the injuries it's amazing we are where we are. I'm just going to keep pulling hard them and looking forward to the next two games.
If you watch the BC and ND games from last year, you’ll see his primary was open and he was able to have time in the pocket to connect with them.
With time to throw and your primary receiver separated from coverage, every college qb is going to look good. This year this hasn’t been the case and he’s had to scan the defense and move in the pocket. He’s been terrible at both of those things and has lost all his mechanics, which has exposed him.
