Clemson non conference sos

I can’t figure out how we have the 78 toughest non conference sos and not somewhere in the top 10. We played 5 out of 6 vs power 5 opponents all with winning records except sc state. 2 could potentially be conference champs. Alabama is a top 10 team and Purdue has been in the top 25 during part of season as well. Is it the small number of games we played. No way 78 teams in front of us except a handful played a harder non conference than we did. I guess all the matters is getting to the big dance but don’t see how they calculate the non conference sos ratings.

Morehead State pulls us down, as does SC State. Mississippi State doesn’t help us. But the rest are all high quality opponents that will be dancing or close to it.

Shouldn’t be pulling us down. They are 18-7 and 17-3 in conference. We played a harder non conference schedule than them IMO but according to warrennolan, there sos is better than ours. Tell me how that is. Them 65. Us 69.
