Clemson Men’s Baseball

Do any of the bored experts have any insight as to what our baseball team SHOULD look like this season? I’m not asking per say, about the Monte saga, but more about the talent coming in and returning. I admit, I do not follow our MBB closely so was hoping to guys like Skeeta and Moab, to name a couple, could comment.

is super young . . . We have about 15-16 Freshmen on the Roster . . . This and a recent past history is probably the reason we aren’t getting much respect . . . and rightfully so.

That’s hard to say, but we’re at the point that we must prove who we are and make people take notice. I believe the talent is there for a good season.

Caden Grice will be strong at the plate and more comfortable at first. Frenchie will be solid behind the plate, providing he wins the job as there are a few catchers on the roster whom I’m not familiar with. Dylan Brewer and Briar Hawkins will be solid. The Tiger I’m looking forward to seeing the most is Chad Fairey. I haven’t seen him in two years, guessing he redshirted last year. He had a crisp lively bat. I’m guessing he’ll DH or play in the outfield as Caden will be at first.

Of course I’m excited to have the chance to see Will Taylor at some point this year roaming Center Field and flying around the bases!!! He should be a player!!!

I really like our Pitching Core with the two Nicks (Hoffman and Clayton) and Geoffrey Gilbert. Hoping Ty Olenchuk has a breakout year.

Other than that someone else needs to chime in. ClemGal followed our guys post season last summer, maybe she will jump in and give us her thoughts. I’d love for Kerigantoo to break his silence and give us his thoughts!!!

We will be putting A LOT of stock in our newcomers!!!
