Only those who donate eleventy gergillion to IPTAY, per year, per ticket will be allowed to park on campus. The rest of the Plebes can get the shuttle from Seneca. Or Easley.

she asked what time we needed to be there.
jroberts - 7:30. 8:00 at the absolute latest if you want to get a parking spot in the lot we're meeting friendsof- in. We'll tailgate breakfast, then get some lunch, then watch the game. After the game, we'll have a snack or light dinner then head out.

She really struggled to believe me until around 10:00, while we were cleaning up from having breakfast, she was watching the cars stack up on Perimeter Road, not moving anywhere.
Get there early, bring lots of food, bring lots of (adult) beverages, be prepared to simply wait. I'd rather wait with a drink in my hands than behind the wheel fuming because "THESE ####### PEOPLE WON'T GO!"

In a 40 foot diesel motorhome with a satellite dish, Green Egg, and a staff of servants. And a golf cart to ride up to the stadium to be let off at your elevator to the air conditioned boxes.
(I've had a couple of trips to games like this. It just feels wrong, even though it's pretty nice. I feel guilty, somehow.)
Of course, there's the redneck in the pickup with kids throwing footballs right at the tailgaters.

meetings to improve gameday traffic flow. They have not always been announced publicly, but they have been held in the weeks prior to the opening game for years.
When you put SCHP, CUPD, and CPD F'icers in the same room, the lack of brain power creates a sorta black hole vacuum that will literally try and pull you into the depths of nothingness.
Seriously, I would sit there and wonder why actual traffic engineers were not in the room. What in the hell does a bunch of guys who arrest people for a living know about optimizing traffic flow?
