7:30 Starts. What's your opinion?

The synical who read this will instantly go criticism. But, I am not saying they should cater the start of these games for my liking.
Just asking a question: "do you all like having to wait all day to see the Tigers play"?
If it were up to me they would start at 3:30. I understand; it's not up to me.
The plus of having the game so late is:
*you can get all your errands run.
*you can watch other games if you are caught up on your other things to do.
*no reason you can't chill and be settled in by the time the game starts.
Negative(the way I see it):
*wears my nerves out.
*sometimes, I get so much donethat by game time, "i'm tired" LOL!
*etc.
This has been posted perhaps if so, my apologies. I'm kind of over the 7:30 starts is all.

I like 7:30 starts for away games. For home games my preferred time is 3:30. (We're in Greenville so 3:30 allows us to leave home at a decent hour, tailgate, go to the game & get home before midnight).

I am further North, but feel exactly the same way - 3:30 at home is best. I can commute the game with plenty of tailgating time and plenty of time to get home.

That's how I felt this past week with BC and them having Todd Blackledge on the call. That's kind of their "A-Team" for big games. There were certainly other games that looked more competitive on paper.

Death Valley additions over the years have been made to create an electric nighttime spectacle! Those expenditures are lost on noon(shudders)games and most of the 3:30 games. At night the stadium itself comes to life for one extra intimidation factor.

Like you, I prefer 3:30. Later games make it tough to get home, then get up on Sunday morning for church. We don’t attend games anymore but we had many times that we got home by 2:30am on Sunday morning and still made it to Sunday School(Bible Study). Quite the nap on the couch that afternoon!! Older now, still prefer 3:30 so I can get cooking done, then kick back to enjoy. Go Tigers!!

100% night games are the best. Imagine playing in the most hostile environment in the country and add on the fact that 1/4 had the time to get hammered and rowdy leading up to the game. Makes for an absolute spectacle as we saw last week.

When it comes to homes game I like the time,just don't like getting in all the slow traffic and the time it takes to get out of Clemson.When it is away from Death Valley I like it because it means the Tigers playing in prime time and are an elite program playing on the national networks where they can be seen throughout the United States.Like it also because get to see the early early games and the midday games also.

And maybe once a year get on the big time CBS game…which I think used to be 2:30.
But maybe it was 3:30.
So many of these newcomers act like night games at Clemson are some grand tradition.
But in the big picture… they really are not.

Yep-- the steam whistle on the P-Plant blew at 1pm and the game started. That said, my favorite is 3:30 because it reduces my traffic driving in. The drive home (to Charlotte) all depends on how close the game is and how many stay around.
I'm a traditionalist. I've been going to games at Clemson since 1954 (5 years old) and I love the 1 o'clock starts.

I agree 100% Clemson is a Primetime Program!
My question though is which gametime do you prefer?
To all the people that said, 1300. That's interesting. I think that would be preferred over the 12 pm times. But, college football games are so dang long.
In a perfect world, 1530 would be my preference in short. But, I understand why 1900 and 1930 have to come into play.

I'm not a fan of night games. I don't like waiting all day for kickoff. Earlier games also allow me to settle down earlier after being pumped for three plus hours, and get to bed at a decent hour. I was up until past 4 AM this morning because I was watching highlights from other games, post game interviews, reading game stuff on Twitter, and reading posts here on the boreds. That usually causes me to feel like crap all day the next day.

I prefer 1:00 or 3:30 . One problem is the 7:30 games have been starting at 7:50. Laurens is only 53 miles away, but we get home at 1:30 AM. Also wish we had limited “ the previous play is under review”.

So, if I am ranking your preferred start times 1st to last it would be as follows BigCUFan®
1. 1530
2. 1930
3. 1200
Do you have a commute thing going on too in terms of preference? Seems like the traffic isn't as bad getting out for certain start times(at Clemson).

Be careful what you wish for. You may get it. I was telling the wife; I wish the Clemson games were not coming on so late and BAM. I look at the Syracuse start time.
I feel like I need to say, "My Bad"!
