Clemson Golf top four in polls

Clemson, S.C.—For the second consecutive poll series, Clemson is ranked in the top four in the nationand is expected to be a number-one seed in the NCAA Men’s Golf Championships that will be announced on Wednesday, May 5 at 2 p.m. on The Golf Channel.
Clemson is ranked third in the latest Golfweek and Golfstat computer polls, and fourth in the latest College Golf Coaches Association poll that is a vote by 23 head coaches from across the country.
The Tigers have three players ranked in the top 100 in the individual rankings by each of the two computer polls. Jacob Bridgeman, who has the lowest stroke average in the nation at 69.24 is ranked third by Golfweek and seventh on Golfstat. Turk Pettit is ranked 11 th in the nation by Golfstat and 17 th by Golfweek. Senior Colby Patton is 75 th in Golfstat and 90th in Golfweek.
