Clemson football PLAYERS by state

Found this to be very interesting on 247Sports considering the false narrative by our lil sister in recruiting is that they own recruiting in SC:
SC - 40
GA - 21
FL - 12
AL - 9
NC - 7
TN - 6
VA - 4

There are a number of states that represent 2 or 1 scholly to get the total to 85 scholarship players...

Sure, the higher profile highly ranked recruits are more plentiful out of state than in state, but we recruit SC very well, we own this state in most regards academically and athletically (except WBB, equestrian and bass fishing) and I'm proud of it!

Is this breakdown for all athletics at Clemson or what? I'm confused by the breakdown. I like stats and I agree with you we get the players we won't typically from the SC. I was just confused because right now currently on the team we only have 15 football players on scholarship from SC.

my confusion happened when Anna switched gears within the article to highlight all players including walk-ons, which I glossed over after all the info about scholarship players.
