This article is garbage... first of all, USuCk was forced to give away around 60,000 tickets bc they couldn’t sell them. There was never a stipulation on the website that the tickets were for military members. The fact that Clemson fans scooped up free tickets as a joke is kind of sh!tty, however they didn’t take any tickets from someone who would have actually used them.
They have less than 10,000 fans in attendance (by my best estimate).

Just trying to deflect attention from their PR nightmare. There was some chatter about it but I doubt any Clemson fans actually went through with it. And if so it wouldn’t matter. There’s 60,000 empty seats today.

And that's, honestly, a crappy thing to do.
However, the dude saying he used 2000 emails to get 16000 tickets is clearly just joking as no one would spend the time to do that, and its pretty stupid "reporting" to take that sort of internet message board post as anything other than trollish joke it clearly is.
But let me reiterate, any Clemson fan who did this did a ####### thing.

until they saw that they couldn't even give them away. Then they changed their story to try and save their "greatest fans in the county" nonsense.

Pretty blatant coot propaganda. Columbia has a lot of bored propagandists. Worst people on earth.

SCar offered tickets to a game to all city, county & state employees, but that was weeks ago and I don't remember if it was this game or another. I just laughed and deleted it. I think they'll still have plenty of tickets left for anyone who would possibly want to go sit in the 56-degree rain.

I'm sure no Clemson fans knowingly took free tickets intended for military and charities. However, I'm sure there were some who took free tickets that they thought were intended for the general public. That's certainly within their right to do so.
If the University of South Carolina only intended for those free tickets to be used for military and various charities, they should've made that clear from the start. They also should've required some sort of ID be shown to verify that the person receiving the tickets qualifies.
If they didn't do those two things, that's on them and doesn't make Clemson fans look "bad" at all.
This is such a non-issue, and you shouldn't worry about it.
