Clemson commit hit with a missile...walks away with bruise

6-star Clemson commit Deshaun Spiller was mowing his mother's yard today when a missile came flying into his yard, hit him, and exploded.
"I was just pushing the old mower there then boom this thing hit me in the chest and there was fire everywhere." said Spiller. "... I went to keep mowing but the mower was destroyed and all the grass was burned."
The Clemson coaching staff called to voice their concern but he assured them he was okay. "Yeah Coach Swinney called and checked on me... it was so awesome, it's like family.. and I told them it looks a little bruised but I am fine. I am looking forward to getting down to Death Valley next month and seeing the new East Zone and checking out that new CFP trophy. I can believe they have won their 5th one since 2016."

No word on where the missile came from. There was only one vehicle in the area, a small maroon truck with two stickers on the bumper, one saying
"Fire Muschamp!"

the other saying...

"Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, No really this time, Never again!"

Police are not saying whether the truck is suspected of involvement though they say the probability that it came from that area is between 7% and 56%.

Obviously this is taking the events of the last few days with some of our commits to another level... but it is mainly to say.. boy, we are recruiting some tough guys to walk away from the type accidents they were involved in. Whether they were our players or not... glad they are okay.

HAHA yeah it is tough to imagine we had two commits in accidents like that and neither seriously injured. Blessed young men.
