Clemson Baseball now up to 31 in RPI (Warren Nolan RPI)

After winning the first two games at NC State, Clemson goes into Sunday’s game at 31 in RPI according to Warren Nolan.

Part of that jump is scar sweeping Florida and now being #1 in rpi which I’m fine with. We need all the help we can get. They’ll lose in the postseason anyways. The SEC is always overhyped. We should’ve beat them too. We turn right around and play at BC this week too. Thank goodness it’s April and not March

Noticed the predicted RPI is 28th, at 33-23, with the #2 SOS. If it comes out that way I don't know how anyone could argue with it.

I dislike SEC as much as anyone, but hard to call them overhyped in baseball

Considering they've produced 4 of last 5 national champs in addition to 3 runners-up during that span.

That said, part of me wishes if we make the big tourney, that we'd get paired w/ SC. We let them off the hook earlier this year when the pitching staff was really struggling & the rotation was in disarray following the Ammons injury. If we could go into their place & eliminate them (as a national seed), would really exorcize some of the demons that have hung over Clemson baseball since the 2010 CWS. Plus, think that'd be a bigger kick in the balls to their fanbase than their WBB Final 4 loss.
