Clemson and UNC players

Over the summer, both Clemson and UNC were CFP contenders, and players from both teams were vocal against playoff expansion. I wonder if any of them feel any different a month into the season?

I don’t. I still think 12 is too many, and I think neither team deserves to be in the conversation this season.

But it will suck to see the CFP this year with at least two SEC teams and no ACC. Will be a slobberfest for ESPN. I see no one capable of going toe to toe with Georgia or Bama this season.

There may be three teams from the SEC this year. ACC & Big 12 suck out loud. The PAC 12 is not looking strong. So that leaves Ohio St and the SEC.

really deserves to be in the Playoffs" annual campaign rant without having to back up to get his paycheck. :)

The season is a long way from over for contending teams, but no doubt Bama and Georgia are the class of the field so far. Florida thinks they are up there too, following their minus two point win over Bama.

The reason the UNC players were against the 12 team expansion of the playoffs were due to the increased number of games the players would have to play.

No question the ACC is going to take a financial hit for not placing a team in the CFP. It's a shame UNC couldn't take the baton for the league while Clemson suffers a one off down year.
