Clay Helton is a really nice guy. His father was too but went 1-9-1 at UH a couple of decades ago. When nice guys get so little out of their players, they must be fired.

I watched some of the Stanford game. David Shaw is getting serious heat for the decline in Stanford football. USC has way more talent, yet Stanford brutalized them. It was flat out ugly! The score was 42-13 before USC scored two late TDs. Stanford hadn't looked that good in years.

I think the players, especially on defense, quit on Helton.

USC absolutely must nail this next hire or they could move into a similar category as UT. They haven't had a decent coach since Pete Carroll.

helton is now free to go to the fake usc,and muschimp to the real usc.could be considerable savings for both on apparel-tees,sweats,etc.

I think they made a good call. That was going nowhere. All of California's best talent was leaving state. Time to try something new.

As an SC TROJAN Myself, I'm actually not happy it had to come to this point, as Nobody ever is, but this had to be Done.

Interim Coach Dante William's will Take over while a Search for 'The Guy' is in store.

I am relieved however, and Hopeful that we Improve on the Big stage and Find the Guy and Go Back to our Winning ways.
