The Clemson football program is in a real danger zone right

now. I know typically the Dabo mantra is the biggest game is the next game and that's all that's focused upon. But he needs to do some serious thinking on the side about bigger picture things right now.

The big picture is recruiting, not the next game. We need to keep this class together and we’ll be fine.

The big picture is recruiting, not the next game. We need to keep this class together and we’ll be fine.
Keeping the class together will help, but the program won't just be magically fine because of that. Thee is some structural rot that needs to be cleaned up, starting with the "yes men" coaching staff.

to stop the downward spiral we're in. And the offense needs to revamp itself. If that means coaching heads rolling then so be it.

That’s why this season isn’t a talent issue.
We’ve averaged 6th nationally in recruiting the last four years, and have plenty of 4 and 5 star talent to go around.
We have no business struggling with GT and losing to NCSU.
Poor coaching has caught up with us. It shouldn’t require generational talent to overcome coaching and be successful.

Its partly a recruiting issue...particularly a roster management issue. And yes, its definitely a coaching issue.
We don't have enough quality depth due to self-imposed rules we put on ourselves. I agree with Dabo...we shouldn't offer as many ppl as BAMA and UGA....an offer should be worth something....but we don't offer enough and often get left taking reaches when we don't fill our numbers with quality players---see OL group as example. We should never be short, or at least as short as we have been, on the 85--which is already a low number when considering we usually play 14-15 games a year.
The bloodline HAS to be HS recruiting, but this self-imposed ban on taking any transfer is beyond ludicrous. We were already not signing enough players....and the transfer portal has only exasperated this issue b/c its a one-way street out of Clemson with ZERO replacements.
Dabo made some tough calls early in his career....(Napier, DCs, etc...)...will he do it again? The landscape has changed...must adjust

I agree. We need to keep this incoming class together. They are a great class with 4 beast OL and a great QB. Hope we can keep them together.

What the sunshine pumpers and reminiscers don't realize is the Clemson Football is a national brand now. it is BIGGER than Dabo. Brands take YEARS to build a few weeks to destroy. We are BURNING the value of the brand by the truckload right now. If Dabo can't/refuses to protect the brand he helped build, then D-Rad needs to step in AND START PROTECTING IT.
