Like you all, I watched tonight with anticipation and hope. I was a little agitated when the announcement finally came and Deshauns name was not called. However, after letting it soak in, here is my humble thoughts. We Clemson fans have been blessed to watch a incredible young man these last 2 seasons. I could care less what ESECPN, the voters or pundits say or think! We know who the best college football player in the country is. We know what he means to this team, to our University. So, congratulations Mr. Henry, you are a great player. Congratulations Mr. McCaferty, you also earned your way to New York! Know this however, you will both look back on this night, and know, that you were in the presence of greatness, and class. If Deshaun never plays another down of football, he will make an huger impact in this world that either of you, simply because of where he has come from, and the man he is! God bless Deshaun, God bless Clemson... GO TIGERS!
