We’re heading towards the Big 10 and SEC basically controlling the sport. They’re probably going to have their own system or their own playoff. Everybody else will be second tier.

Comparing last year to what is coming with new conference payouts and NIL ramifications is dangerous thinking. It will not be the same.

the long run. As things stand right now, ten years down the road, Clemson will have been at a HALF A BILLION DOLLAR deficit on revenue compared to the BIG and the SEC. There is no way in the world to continue to compete on an equal basis with that kind of financial shortfall.

And to those who say we HAVE been competing successfully, that is because those deficits are just now starting to add up. It's going to be like a huge boulder rolling downhill from this point going forward. It'll just keep gathering more momentum.
