-5 star DT Travis Shaw. Shaw will make his college commitment on the 21st. As I am sure you have seen Shaw has been trending to UNC on 247 Sports crystal ball prediction site. I also would heavily favor UNC at this time. According to people that I have talked to UNC has convinced both Shaw and his family to let Shaw reclassify into the class of '21 and be eligible to play this Fall. Now you see why the timeline was moved up, it had to be. Now I will admit I have no idea if Shaw has the credits to graduate early, I'm assuming he can but IDK, I also do not know if Shaw will follow through and reclassify. Let me also say that I have heard smoke more recently there is a chance Shaw is at Clemson vs. UGA, that would obviously mean that he would not be reclassifying. Just two different things that I have heard but either way I expect UNC to be the pick in a week. Shaw has talked in the past about creating his own clothing line with NIL, I'm assuming this, reclassifying, would be related to that. Obviously, if Shaw reclassifies Clemson would have no chance to flip him, but if he decides to stay in the current class you would imagine that Clemson would continue to push.
-If Shaw picks UNC that would leave Gabe Dindy, Hero Kanu, and Cadeb Curry with outstanding offers. I do not think Clemson has any chance at Dindy, I also do not think Kanu is a very realistic option. That leaves Curry. Curry attended Clemson's Elite Retreat, and has held fast in his desire to take officials to all of his final 5 schools in OSU, Clemson, Bama, Indiana, and Oregon. The door is at minimum cracked there, I really do not see Curry being a lean anywhere, I would give OSU the slightest edge if I was forced to make a pick right now. Most likely Clemson only takes 1 DT, and I would imagine the board expands as senior film comes in, that is why there is no way to sugarcoat what is most likely going to happen with Shaw. It will put pressure on Clemson to hit on guys in the 23 class such as Burley.
-Won't be able to answer a lot of questions, but just thought that I would share what I am hearing take it for what it is worth.

Will it be a clothing line that appeals to boosters? I think most 'Legitimate' NILs will fail to bring fair value to businesses. It will evolve into a system for deep pocket boosters to bid for recruits.

Well our coaches surly know how to move past a recruit that doesn't won't to be a Clemson Tiger. In fact, he (shaw) has probably gotten more Tiger Net time than he actually deserves, next recruit future Tiger up, that wants to be a Clemson Tiger!!!

Agreed. I’ve never felt much that our missing on a recruit led to anything of concern. We done just fine.
