Claiming The Panthers are going to hire Joe Brady as Offensive Coordinator.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

That would be awesome. Not a panther fan but that’s a very talented coach.

It’s easy to look great when you have NFL players all around. There’s a thousand coaches that would look awesome with unbelievable talent on the roster. Let him go somewhere without all that talent and see how he does.

I've heard that argument before

And it almost always ends up being incorrect..

How good was LSU's offense last year with a lot of those same players? Pretty darn mediocre. This year they fielded one of the best offenses in the history of CFB. Are you really going to attribute all of that to the talent?

He already said last weekend that he is staying with LSU.

He has no buyout on his contract if he goes to the NFL . If the Panthers offer 10 x what he’s making , he’s gone .

In my opinion, the Panthers would be stupid to take him . He has virtually no experience .

He played receiver at William and Mary . Caught 1 pass for 13 yds .

He’s not even the OC at LSU , Ensminger is .

He was an assistant coach with the Saints for a year . Go ahead hire him .

He won’t have the talent he had at LSU at QB and 3 receivers .

What was Dabo's resume when he took over at Clemson?

Jan 14, 2020, 5:45 PM

Sometimes you can just tell certain people have it. Brady will be interviewed as will those he has worked with and if he's really the prodigious coaching talent that he's been made out to be, it will probably come through in those interviews. And sure it might not work out, but it's probably also a really high upside hire and I'd much rather take a gamble on something like that than an old NFL retread.
