Southern Cal any old time. I don't recall Texas playing LSU in recent memory. (Winsipedia says last played in 2003, have only played 8 times in history.)

This probably had a lot to do with CLEMSON getting the first game with a weak (new coach) GT. No way is the ESPN network gonna ignore SEC games, and really CLEMSON won't have too many games that are deserving of a Gameday IMO.
At some point, there might need to be an additional Gameday crew to be on the ACCN. Otherwise, ESPN is going to favor the SEC and ALL the other conferences. But, the ACCN needs to be a national thing like the SEC Channel. Most of the country will NOT pay extra to see ACC games, just like most of the country would not pay extra to get the SEC Channel. It is going to take time and evolve into something really great for the nation.

It's a no-brainer when you look at the seeds - it's a higher seed game, Texas/LSU than us and A&M. It has nothing to do with them being in town for GT; and in all honesty, I was surprised they chose to do GT...guessing when looking at our schedule there really isn't a home game worthy of getting GameDay, plus they probably want to launch the ACC Network with some added marketing, and, it's a Thursday night so they can still go elsewhere that Saturday.

Makes me throw up a little in my mouth just thinking about LSU and tu on the same field. I'll be rooting for the earthquake and a rip in the earth's crust for that one.

I hope everyone realizes that we aren't really getting "gameday" for the GT game, they will have a desk setup in the stadium to do TV coverage pregame but the main setup for that week is at the Auburn/Oregon game.
It will be cool to have for sure, but it isn't an open to the public (unless you are in the stadium), Bowman field type of setup if I understand correctly.
