Texas putting 2 recruiting classes together

in 2022 and now 2023.

Their class was ranked 5th last year with 35 players (not sure I've seen a number than big before), and their class is ranked 3rd now this year, currently, with 22 players.


That said, Texas STILL isn't back. LOL!!


Count losses to Alabama, OK, OK State, Baylor, with Iowa st and possible. Of course, there will be an inexplicable loss to someone like Kansas.

I think you are right, 2-3 years from now they will be challenging for a CFP spot if they can build a decent defense.

Any Texas loss brings a smile to my face. I think/hope the culture is so bad it will take a while to be anywhere near back. I live 90 miles from Austin so I have to deal with their nonsense all the time. I really, really like Baxter as a rb and was hoping the Buckeyes would land him. Word is he is looking for upfront NIL which the buckeyes dont do. OSU may have to rethink that if things get out of control. I think it can certainly affect team chemistry and the culture. I cant blame a player for doing it though.
