We lost because the team wasn’t into playing anywhere except the “other” tournament. I can think of no reason for that attitude except to point the finger at those who are paid to put a big product on the market. I’m sure there was a lot of disappointment within the team for missing out on not being selected for the tournament but this was not the time to fold. No one played well last night. Not a single player can say that he gave his all. I expect that it is difficult to get your guys ready to play for a far less important game than you had hoped to play . BUT... it should have been done especially with the game at home. Very, very disappointing way to end 2022-23 basketball.

Going into the game, maybe. Once the game is being played, these guys are competitors and doubt that was any issue. The issue was we continued to try and shoot 3s vs driving to the basket, and that is coaching both from the game plan and in game adjustments or lack thereof. It is the same theme all year. Make 3s and win or miss them and lose.

This is 100% the problem, and that is on the coach. You cannot play down to shat teams. If the kids didn’t want to be there then deny the bid.
