from cirrhosis of the liver. He was a graduate of Clemson University, class of 1994. He was only 50 years old and was just 20 days shy of qualifying for a liver transplant.
If you drink, please do so in moderation. I pray none of you or your loved ones have to go through what I did today.

I haven’t lost a child. I cannot even imagine how you feel . I lost my wife 2 years ago and I think about her every day We were married 50 plus years. Time helps but the memories linger. Many memories I treasure instead of trying to forget.

Praying for you & your family to be comforted during this grief, we aren’t supposed to lose our children before we go, it’s so hard on a parent. My wife & I don’t drink because we have watched her mom and uncle pass because of the same thing.
One of my best friends got a transplant that lasted 15 years but died without another transplant because his numbers weren’t low enough to get a transplant 4 years ago.

It's not the same as a child, but my brother is a severe alcoholic, and the doctors have given him two to three years left to live if he keeps drinking, which he is doing. I have prepared myself for my brother's death, but I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a child to something like that.

Just a few weeks ago I lost the last of my childhood friends for the exact same reason. I loved him like a brother. It seems such an unnecessary loss, but he just couldn't shake the alcohol.
The pain of losing a friend was great, I dont want to imagine the pain of losing a child. I am so sorry for your loss but have prayed you will perceive Christ's presence in your pain. I also stand with you in the admonition to those who struggle with alcohol. Please get some help! Its available and there are folks who care about you and want nothing but good for you. I'll add too that liver disease can easily sneak up on a person...sort of a frog in the pot situation. Please be aware and try to get some help.

I have always consumed more than I probably should, I graduated in '93, buty body hasn't recovered from my bad bout in January -Feb this yr. My kidneys and liver have hurt since all the 104 temps, low O2, and still have memory loss. But my liver is most concern as I drank to make food taste better. I was on covid drugs for 4mos and I haven't felt the same. Oh yeah, i was vaxxed.

from cirrhosis of the liver. He was a graduate of Clemson University, class of 1994. He was only 50 years old and was just 20 days shy of qualifying for a liver transplant.
If you drink, please do so in moderation. I pray none of you or your loved ones have to go through what I did today.

I’ve posted on here in the past about the struggles my daughter has
She is 20 and once again finding herself in trouble from mental illness
She’s been in the MICU twice this year, including tonight
She does everything asked of her
Meds, therapy, no drinking or drugs, exercise, sleep
The darkness of her mental illness continues to be more powerful than the light that the rest of the world sees in her
I pray for you
I feel your pain
I wish you love
I wish you and your peace
I pray my daughter finds hers before I must post the same

accept my sincerest condolences.
I lost my only son in April 2019 to cancer; thus, I know the sense of personal loss. His oldest son believes his illness was brought on by smoking. Regardless, few parents expect to outlive their children, and if so, it becomes a loss far different than the loss of a parent. I have had to adopt an almost stoic attitude, thinking it was something just meant to happen.
I will remember you, your family and your son in my prayers, while offering my best wishes.

God bless you, my prayers are with you. I feel your pain as I watched my eldest son die of pancreatic cancer a few years back, an awful time in my life. It's an ugly way to go, drugged to the gills and still in agony, dying slowly. He was 52.
