Can't believe so many would not be pumped to play Bama

Talk about catapulting our program. This would be the next step...I embrace this opportunity. We matchup well. And think about how the coots would react to us winning. The risk is totally worth the reward.

I'm beyond excited. We can beat them. No one said we would be LSU last year, wait and see if we don't pull an upset in this one too.

Let's play um, see what happens, could get beat could win...
you never know till you play, look at Auburn and their fluke win over Georgia then their unbelievable finish over Alabama...
the only thing that is assured is if we don't play them, yep we won't win... that is the truth...

Cowering...funny. I call it being rational.

If USuK can rattle our guys into 6 turnovers, I would expect Alabama to do the same. Simple, emotionally-void logic. I have no reason to expect a different outcome.

that's what the ACC has made of us, If we played in the SEC, we're a bottom tier 500 team, Dabo would be taken to school every week, just like Spurrier has done the last 5 years, as much as I hate to admit it our weak ACC schedule makes us look (and think) we're better than we are

FAIL...this Bama team would take Auburn to pieces...
Dec 1, 2013, 9:43 PM

...with another shot at those cheaters. Malzahn has sold his soul and every player on Auburn's roster to the devil.
They will win out, but after that, the devil will have his due with that team.
I would not want any part of Bama in a bowl.

Everything you wrote is wrong. Malzahn is a man who believes in the power of prayer.

they friggin beat us they won't care.
It's just another opportunity for dabo and company to sweep the South Carolina game under the rug as if nothing happened..........just like LSU
beat Alabama........lose to Alabama...........either way we lost the 2 most important games of the year.......NOTHING can make up for that.

out in the bowl. There is just something about playing that team that causes our team to play timid. I think it is just the fear of a loss.
These seniors will play like they have nothing to lose (though that isn't true, i.e. health) come the bowl game.

You are crazy son.
I'm not blaming Dabo or Morris for our loss this week and the sky is NOT falling, but we don't match up well against Bama. I give them -14.5 easily.

We would be underdogs.
But they play to our strengths.
Our Run Defense stuffed the two top running backs this year. Our pass rush would be effective vs McCarron. Alabama's oline is not much better than South Carolina's. Plus, McCarron is a statue. If he is pressured we can effect him.
Amari Cooper is a concern. We would have to step up big time to contain him.
Alabama's defense is stout but their biggest weakness is pass rush. If Tajh Boyd has time he is effective. Not sure we could run effectively against Alabama. That would be our biggest obstacle.
Would it be difficult to beat Alabama? Absolutely. Impossible? Hardly.
We still have elite players on offense and defense. I like our chances.
