Actually no I cannot agree, they had some good teams in the HMR era. They got shafted out of a BCS era shot with Stafford and the year Bama destroyed Norte Dame the de facto NC game was the SECCG when it came down to the final play for UGA at the Bama goal line.

It was actually 16-12, LSU went as a 2 loss team but UGA was playing better ball at the end of the year.

Bama played ND in 2012, the same year UGA lost to SC 35-7. If you're trying to say they got snubbed in 2007, they didn't even win their division (because they lost 35-14 to Tennessee) and LSU won the conference. Are you a closeted UGA fan? You sound like one.

If you really wanna get technical, Alabama lucked into that one too. That was the year Ohio State was undefeated and self imposed a bowl ban after the tattoo thing. They would have for sure been in over Bama that year. There were about 3-4 teams that could have smoked ND in that game. It was kind of a freebie for whoever lined up against them.

Yes that is correct but the thing is you do not grasp that I am talking 2 seperate times in different seasons. The year Bama played ND the SEC CG was the defacto NC as either UGA or Bama would have killed ND. UGA lost and they did not advance but were certainly relevant. The other time was the 2007 season when LSU went over UGA with 2 losses. Hope that clears up your confusion. 2 SEPERATE SEASONS . The year UGA got shafted they went on to play Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl with Stafford, I also said UGA was playing better ball at the end of the year and there was a lot of controversy over the pick to get LSU in to the NC game. They finished that season at #2, kinda makes them relevant huh?. QB in Bama game was aaron murray and they finished the year top 5 in polls, kinda relevant too. Main point is what is criteria for relevant I suppose.

Depends on if you count playing Hawaii in a BCS bowl as being relevant. Seems like the BCS formula didn't think so. ??
