you try holding a ball in your hand and then kicking it with your foot.
It isn't like he has been doing this for the last 10 years, kicking a ball.
I watched Renfrow warm up in Atlanta and I bet he didn't have a single one go past 58 yards, in the air, in a tight curving spiral, allowing his teammates to run and cover it

Get a much lower trajectory that way.
