Why softball pitchers can pitch multiple games in a weekend? I understand they don’t throw as fast, but still Cagle throws harder than most and throws a lot of pitches. How is it different?

Underhand rotation is a natural movement, overhead is not and the additional muscles needed and pressure on places not developed for it, causes the extra wear and tear. For thousands of years we have been swinging our hands as we walk, while only a fraction throw overhand, and for a fraction of the time.
