I do think we contain him... but under 60 is a big check to

cash.
I think he will break our 2-deep at least once, I just hope Kearse/Green can keep him out the endzone when he does.
As long as our offense keeps clicking and we get an early lead, their run game will become a non-factor.
Cook stays under 100 Saturday.

It read pretty good until the guy said Clemson lacked depth on defense. Not hardly. The key is NOT to let Cook get up a head of steam on those sweeps. I think our front seven will be the best they have seen all year or will see. Yes, he will get his yards, but Im hoping its under 100. If not, they wont be able to keep up with our O.

Cook is a better back than Prosise, but Notre Dame has a better O-Line than FSU - or so the talking-heads told us. I think that Cook will get his yards, but we should be OK. There have been backs who got their yards against us this year, but who really hurt us? Coach BV plays a high pressure scheme where he tries to disrupt the opposing offense and take them out of their natural pattern. That can be high risk. The result is that we stone them repeatedly but occasionally give us a big play. The net result is that we stop drives but can give us a big play.
Pick you poison. Do you want to sit back and let them run their offense and try to contain them, or do you want to stuff them? I like CBV. I like his scheme. I like the way he wants to play defense.
Spot the ball.

I'm more concerned about breakdowns in the passing lanes , allowing chunk olays to FSU is my only fear . I think we outscore them , and I think Cook gets 80+yds . Clemson 31 FSU 20

didn't bring up with all Cook's stats and the Clemson defensive stats.....in between those matchups, FlaSt's defense will be trying to stop the Tiger offensive juggernaut....something no team has been able to do in recent memory.
So, while the criminoles are preparing to continue pounding the rock in the second half (see the next to last paragraph), they'll be falling farther and farther behind as they watch the clock speed towards 0:00

will have to abandon the run. This will play right into the hands (literally) of Mac, Tank, and Kearse.
Note to Shaq, Boulware and company. Seek and Destroy.
Note to fans: Storm the field in an orderly manner at conclusion of the big victory. No, wait, to Hail with it, go crazy!

Shanker: I remember a balky hamstring supposedly favoring Miami, too. Then Cook took his first rush against the Canes 74 yards to the house. Later in the first quarter, he turned the corner and pulled away from Miami’s defense on another long score. Whether Cook is 70 percent, 90 percent or in the best shape of his life, he’s the best opposing running back on the Tigers’ schedule. He’s going to get his yards against the Tigers, and don’t be surprised if he tops 100 yards as Clemson has been susceptible against the run recently. Boston College's Myles Willis ran for 88 yards on 15 carries against Clemson and teammate Marcus Outlow averaged 8.9 yards on his five carries. Last week, NC State running back Matthew Dayes ran nine times for 72 yards before an injury sidelined him.
