I think it has to do with Hispanic folks being immune to COVID, hence no need to test them before sending them all over America or avoid packing them together. Oh wait, they're not actually immune. Yes, it's Trump's fault. Biden was elected to solve problems. It would appear his solution is off just a bit.This is a colossal screw up by Biden. He has made this problem much worse. The president of Mexico is left of center and has put the blame for the current influx squarely on Biden. Why won't he allow the media to freely see the mess he has made worse?

There is this. Per NBC news from yesterday-3/25-CBP is not testing migrant children at border stations, though many test positive after being transferred to sites maintained by FEMA of HHS. So I guess on semantics, you are correct. The kids are eventually being tested, but in reality is there really a difference?
Henry Cuellar's D-TX office stated that 400 children were sleeping in single pods without separation or physical distancing in one of the Border Patrol facilities.
As of last Sunday, there were more than 3,300 children in custody of the Border Patrol beyond the established 3 day limit.
Any way you slice it, these kids are not being tested initially upon crossing the border. They are crammed together for days and only upon being transferred to a FEMA or HHS facility are they then tested while crammed together in the FEMA or HHS facilities. They are then supposedly isolated somewhere else.If I were designing a way to spread an infectious disease, this would be it.
There is no school operating even remotely like this. Quite sometime ago, the CDC said it was ok to get the kids back in class even without all the teachers vaccinated. The major teacher's unions have pushed back against the CDC scientists. Now we are told that the classrooms may operate 3 feet apart instead of 6 per our government health experts. There is resistance to this too by some teacher's unions. Many private schools and parochial schools have been holding in class learning for many months.
So yes, I too wonder why Biden is not pushing the teacher's unions to do their job especially when the health experts say it's time to do so. Instead, the message from Biden is causing an influx of illegal immigrants in the midst of this pandemic. It would seem the prudent thing would be to aggressively enforce our border laws while also pushing public schools to open.

It's pretty easy to explain. The 600 kids in a Conex aren't going home to spread anything. They are stuck there and are all tested. The school is different. Do you understand the basics now? How the heck did that confuse you.
