In 2012 the NRA also endorsed and gave Katherine Hochul an "A" rating when she was running for a seat in the 27th Congressional District in NY. Why - because Hochul was spouting all this pro 2A stuff back then because she knew the Northwestern NY 27th district was a Republican leaning district and that a gun control candidate had no chance.
Funny how her true anti-gun leftist colors came out once she got into the LT Governor's, and now Governor's position. Now that Hochul has to woo all those Manhattan and Long Island leftists, she is decidedly a gun control advocate and has now earned a well deserved "F" rating from the NRA. Of course this lying politician uses the phrase "position has evolved" to describe her about face on the 2A which in political speak means "I have no convictions and was just saying what I thought would/will get me elected".
