This was truly a top 25 victory all time for your program like some people said on here before the game. Your team was ready to play, and you gave it all you had. Dabo and the team looked like they just won the SuperBowl when the game ended.
I will say it was pretty sad for your fanbase to be exponentially outnumbered in the Georgia Dome by LSU fans which were very disappointed in their bowl selection and had to travel a much greater distance to get there. I don't see Clemson ever turning into a top 10 program consistently until the fans travel better.
I was disappointed in some of the players emotion in this game. I understand not getting up for a lesser bowl since we deserved the Cap One or Cotton, but I was a little surprised to see it. It's a shame this team had to go to the Peach bowl (I know it has a new name now.)
Quick question...do your defensive backs coaches teach the db's to interfere on every singe pass play? I was amazed at how little this was called when db's hit our receivers before the ball got there. Also, do your wide receivers coach to illegal push offs? We got some pi calls when it should have been offensive. Just a curious thought.
Anyways, congrats on the one point victory. You guys are now 1-2 against us.
Also, for those people wondering where bayoulsucajun is, he is banned so he can't come back to defend himself.

Maybe with more time you could have gotten your wind back, all that laying on the ground would have helped with a 5th quarter.

odd that you mention the 1-2 record when your two victories were by the scores of 7-0 (Sugar Bowl) and 10-7 (Peach Bowl). Not exactly resounding margins, especially when one of them was a legendary National Championship LSU team.

With regards to your comments about our DBs being taught to interfere on every play, I would like to point out that Nuk Hopkins was interferred on the 2nd down play from the 20 yard line on our final drive of the game. The announcers caught it as well and it was very obvious on the replay. That missed PI call nearly cost us the game as Boyd was sacked on the next play and we faced a 4th and 16 from the 14 yd. line. We all know what happened from there.
The better team won. How can you dispute the following stats:
CU LSU
First Downs: 32 9
Total Offense: 445 219
TOP: 39 21
Total Plays: 100 48
And 6 sacks and 8-3 and outs by our much maligned and slow defense! LSU was lucky to be in the game. We gave you the ball inside our 25 twice resulting in 10 points. Oh, and all of this crap about running Hill on the 2nd and 3rd down after the 8 yd. completion on your last possession.
LSU rushed the ball 25 times for 99 yds. 74 of those came on 2 plays. On the other 23 plays, LSU averaged 1.09 yds/carry.....not good odds to rely on for a first down. We shut LSU down 8 times without a first down and many of the 3rd down attempts were running plays with two of them were a 3rd and one!

pass interference. Guess that crew took lessons from the SEC referee school - I have watched several SEC games this year in which it appeared that they had no idea what pass interference was ... getting the call wrong both when they called it and when they didn't. Besides,our DB's usually aren't close enough to interfere with receivers. To add to that, Boyd's passes were released so quickly that your DB's were still hanging onto our WR's so it just looked like they pushed off as they reached through your guys' arms to catch pass after pass.

First off, even among your rival SEC schools, your fan base has earned the rep as a Loud(to your credit), often delusional, entitled bunch of whiners. You represent well.
As to your players lacking motivation, maybe Les needs to study motivation as well as clock management. Maybe tell his players if they don't perform well, he won't post bail next time--something along those lines.
If you think Clemson doesn't travel well, you don't follow CFB very closely.
Before listing alibis, you might want to take a moment to review the stat sheet.
Lastly, please peel your "gassed", crampy, boo-hooing defenders off the Georgia Dome turf, feed 'em and Midol, and go home.

It's OK to be less than a gracious loser. You go on to the other team's board and say something like:
"Congratulations on the win. Wish we could have given you a better game. Best of luck in the future."
There! That's not so hard. Had y'all won, you would have seen plenty of them. Certainly we did a lot of that on the Mountaineer board this time last year.
But no ... every "compliment" toward Clemson has been couched in backhanded silliness or denigration.
We've come to expect it from the brainwashed bozos in your conference. Still it's depressing to see our low expectations can't be met.
Clemson will enjoy our one-point win because we know how hard-fought it was. We know that it is a win to savor because we can see the whole picture and know that your guys are a foe to salute in victory.

Glad you found the time to come on here and cry about your loss to an ACC team though...players emotions...ha. Go say that to Montgomery or Mingo and see what they think. We had one of them on the sidelines in the game and the other laying on the ground by the end...don't think it was emotion that became their problem.

Also, do you think we were thrilled to be in the Peach, and in the Dome for the second time this year? I couldn't justify making a second trip to Atlanta for a glorified scrimmage, money-wise.
