Buying Natty Tickets From Scalpers?

Jan 3, 2017, 6:37 PM

Really want to go to Natty but need some feedback. Anyone buy tickets to last years National Championship game outside of the stadium? Wondering if it's a viable option although risky?

Thanks for your help as I desperately want to go but will be a last minute decision so weighing all options.

Same situation...Hoping someone with experience provides some feedback on what scalping is like prior to a Natty!

It's risky. I've seen people getting turned around at the gat at DV this year because they bought worthless tickets from a scalper. I don't trust them.

I have heard of people use the scalping route with great success and with utter failure. Keep in mind, this isn't me. I don't have the guts to take that kind of risk wth my money.

Not at the NCAA Championship, but at a pro-level championship game, someone bought 2 tickets after the game started from a scalper for about 75% of the face value. Everything worked out.

At a playoff game, pro-level again, someone bought 4 tickets for 50% of the price per ticket after the game started, but only 1 of the 4 tickets was valid.
