If it hadn't been for the interception in the end zone it would've been 38 - 21. Other than Shipley and Mafa, we had little to no offense. Anyone will tell you, it's not hard to defend against a one dimensional team.

But they were averaging 7 yards a carry between them

and only get 22 touches? That's not on how the defense played us, that's on the play calling

They didn’t change anything to defend our run game. We went to tighter formations which invites people to the box. If you watch in the first quarter when we ran all over them, it was out of four wide formations that we didn’t use the rest of the game. We’ve run well all year against a six man front. They started bringing seven men in the box once we started bringing the tight end to block. They committed men to the box to counter our formations. It blows my mind that out coaches don’t understand our run efficiency goes way down when we use the TE as an H-Back or on the line.
