Indeed. That proves everything. He is moderately wealthy which is totally commensurate with his jobs and private gigs over the years.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE - MOVE ALONG

Uhh. Ignore this part.

Between 2017 and 2019 he and First Lady Jill Biden reported $16.5million in gross income on their federal tax returns, released by the Biden campaign.

The vast majority came from their two companies, CelticCapri Corp and Giacoppa Corp, which they use for speaking and writing engagements.

But in Office of Government Ethics (OGE) fillings for the same period, Joe only reported $9.6million in income for himself and his wife.

Lordy. You do realize the Daily Mail is the English version of National Enquirer, right?

It's literally English fishwrap.

I mean, I too cite tabloids when I'm making intellectual arguments I hope others take seriously.

Hmmm. I heard similar, unintelligent arguments when the hunter Biden lap top came out.

Why do you continue to cover for joe, and also believe every debunked conspiracy theory involving trump, while claiming to be a moderate?

"Pretending to be moderate."

You do understand that most of the guys you Fascists regularly accuse of being "leftists" on here are actually center-right RINO guys who soured on Trump and this loonie-tunes GOP, right?

I am no Joe Biden fan, which anybody who could read - which obviously does not include you - would see. But attack the dude the right way, for cryin' out loud, there's an acre of material to work with.

Instead you MAGA's are just so blithering stupid - and yes, you are imbeciles studying to be idiots and not studying very bloody hard - you can't even figure out how to attack Joe on merits but instead have to freaking lie and live in this WWE-style world of make-believe the rest of us are all supposed to go along with whether it makes the slightest bit of sense or not.

And it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE that a career politician who had spent 40+ years in Washington and had a legal way to make millions was suddenly doing crime at the end of his career, right as he was collecting millions ABSOLUTELY LEGALLY. Careerist insider politicians don't have to because they have LEGALIZED GRIFT, you bloody moron.

The problem isn't the "crime". For Joe, I SERIOUSLY doubt there was any unless he was a complete nincompoop. The problem is the fact that there's an elaborate system of favors and markers and politicians expect to be paid for favors rendered upon leaving office. Whereupon they cash in from everybody they've ever done favors for with way overpriced book deals, way overpriced speaking engagements, and often, lucrative cushy jobs on K Street.

Sure, Joe was self-dealing. I'm not calling him "a man of sterling integrity". The dude was in Washington for 40+ years, for cryin' out loud, and had built such a name his entitled relatives backed their gravy trains up to it and were grifting too...which says acres about the bent system we've built there in Washington. And young Hunter could wind up in the soup over that, and from the sounds of it, he may well deserve to. He was collecting payola from some bad folks.

But inventing tired "scandals" WWE-style just makes you MAGA's look like complete imbeciles, and it doesn't do a bloody #%^&ing thing to fix what's actually wrong in Washington. In fact it just gets us an even worse breed of politician - populists bent on actually destroying what's left of our democracy.

Hopefully that clarifies.

You know who pegged this? Oddly enough, AOC. Girl's voice goes down my spine like fingernails down a chalkboard but she got this one dead-right...give Washington's second-best Baby Bolshevik her due, she's good for a good sound byte or two every so often.

This is the real problem. You MAGA guys are so busy peering under the welcome mat at Joe's house for dirt and making much of a muchness about zip (trying to make some sort of false equivalency with the Donald's monumental grift, I guess) you don't realize the real problem is you need to step back...and take a look at the house.

You paid for that house. I paid for that house. Biden's only worth $9 million or so right now and that's low by Washington standards. Pelosi's worth $115+ million in tech stocks...that she then turns around and passes laws about. Rick Scott - good God - $300+ million. Mitt Romney, $200+ million. It goes on and on, both sides of the aisle. They aren't representing us. They're representing whoever keeps them in office and then pays them off afterwards.

And. It. Is. Freaking. Legal. That's the real crime there. They aren't working for their constituents at all anymore, which is why everybody is fed up to he!! and high water with them.

"Public service" seems awfully lucrative. Almost like they back the Brinks truck up and just sort of scoop.

Anyhow, you know who AOC was really talking about here? Pelosi. They were having one of their little spats about who was in charge....

The way they do it is legal, T3. Like I said, take a look at his tax returns right after he left the VP's office. He made absolute bank. And he did it the way all politicians who just leave high office do it - with a multimillion dollar book deal, and with speaking arrangements for $200,000 a pop at some sponsored luncheon or keynote address...that are sometimes attended by like, 50 people.

In the meantime, a whole lot of them own stocks...and then turn around and pass laws about those stocks in a glaring conflict of interest that would not be tolerated in any other field. But they're the ones who make the laws, and so of course they see no problem whatsoever with it.

Also mind, nobody's ever going to read those books they just made seven figures on, just as nobody really listens to those speeches and they certainly aren't worth $200K. (They're always paid for by some "Foundation" or another.)

And there's tons of other ways to skin the cat, too. Especially "consulting". They love that one. Former VP candidate Joe Lieberman made a ton of money "consulting" for various folks, including Chinese tech interests that were robbing their American partners blind, especially in intellectual property. Elizabeth Warren even tagged him on it, which was hilarious. "Hey Joe, how's the wife and kids...and by the way, you're a TRAITOR." (She was a little more diplomatic about it, but not much.)

Now...should it be legal? Of course not. Again, those are glaring conflicts of interest. Just as the Biden name was a "name" only because we don't have term limits, so his 40+ years in office translated to what amounted to Washington royalty - which we were never supposed to have - which is exactly why a scumbag drug addict ne'er-do-well like Hunter was able to scurry around the world collecting what amounted to bribes for "access" he seemingly could not provide, and even Joe's brother and sister are profiting wildly off the Biden name. His sister even wrote a bio book...for seven figures.

It's bent to the bone. But it is, unfortunately, legal, and it's going to remain legal as long as WE THE PEOPLE keep chasing the squirrels put in front of us by CNN and Fox like those dopey dogs from Up! and do not impose term limits to abolish this professional politician class that has grown like a cancer in Washington.

Don’t flatter yourself. You aren’t that special guy. I think you and your left buddies wrote the book on how to cry “scandal”. You guys wasted so much of tax payers dollars to investigate, interrogate and ministrate for four years. The sad part about it is that it was a complete waste of time. So don’t talk to anyone about your so called “fake scandal allegations”. The left is champions in that category fella!
