Clemson # 1 in polls and plenty of love from everyone

Can we stop with the no respect non-sense?
I do not like Fine bald man and think he was simply small time radio guy until the trees were poisoned in Auburn, next thing you know he is on ESPN.
He is Sec homer and was just asked who he would bet his career and all money on to make the playoffs. His answer Clemson Tigers
Clemson has made it with wins over LSU Ohio st Oklahoma and Notre dame. The media and other coaches are voting Clemson #1. How can anyone complain about bias or disrespect?
Ask Oklahoma st, Iowa or Baylor about disrespect being behind bama and Notre dame.
Sounds whiny and childish to play that tired sharpton type hype of no respect and being treated unfairly when sitting at #1
Ask Oregon about respect? They were at the top and can't even get a highlight anymore from them. It's about TV money and people watching the games. Clemson has the defense Oregon never had and seems to have an offense that can score 80 into next year. ESPN etc will all be on the Clemson bandwagon.
The only issue is they came up with clemsoning due to being embarrassed when they jumped on the bandwagon a bit too early.
They are back on now and the train is rolling along nicely. Enjoy the ride rather than complaining about media. Keep in mind you couldn't watch a bama game on tv during the Shula dubose years. They will drop a team once they aren't the hot topic anymore. Winning solves everything!
I like both instate teams due to having degrees from both. It is a great thing to have the state represented so well by a great team after so many years of mediocre football coming from our state. The last few years have been good, sitting in Williams Brice watching 2 instate top 10 teams was incredible, but this takes it to another level. Keep it rolling tigers

It's not as if they have a choice.

Disney yanked their short hairs about pushing the SEC so hard and offending everybody who doesn't live in the southeast.
ESPiN spent the entire off season convincing every sports writer out there that Clemson's defense couldn't be worth much after losing it's entire starting lineup to the draft and creating the illusion that DW was a fragile as a china doll. Then they ignored us when football started which continued until we started being selected by their ABC masters for prime time on a Network that airs without cable.
With the Playoff Committee proclaiming Clemson as the most complete team in the league they now have no choice. If we continue to dominate they will continue to pump. If we sneeze they will drop us like a rock and stick a one loss Bama in above us.

Remember all the angst and apprehension from people on here

(at least partially Chicken-influenced) in the recent past saying that the ACC is so terrible that even if Clemson went undefeated there was no way Clemson would/could ever crack the Top 4.
Well, reality is that Clemson is an undisputed #1 and even if Bama was undefeated, we'd still be #2 at worst.
So much for that unfounded fear and loathing.......
Yet some people still find a way to be miserable, despite being an almost unanimous #1.

Keep in mind in a typical season without notre dame on schedule Clemson and the acc would be outside looking In Like Baylor etc. simply due to fla st being clemsons only big win. Tough question is should Baylor run table you have OSU. Baylor, Clemson notre dame or Stanford Alabama Oklahoma st all sitting in the top 8 who gets left out?

you're trying so hard not to show your feathers, and it's not working.....Last time Clemson didn't play a power 5 OOC team (beside SC) was in 2009 when we played TCU, who played in a BCS game that year.

That was actually just a statement about how good it is that a good Notre dame team is in the win column for Clemson really need Notre dame to get good win over Stanford to help even more. Fact no Notre dame I last several decades, on schedule this year. How is that anything other than a simple statement.
How do you argue with facts. No Notre dame and this years team would be left outside with the ACC not offering any good teams.
That isn't a shot at Clemson, just facts about how bad the other teams have been. I thought Louisville would have been better. Need FSU and Notre dame to keep winning. USC sure isn't going to help the strength of schedule any.
Clemson can hang with anyone. Unless the ACC gives some competition, the good teams get screwed.
Don't be so much of a pansy and discuss things openly. Yes, been around since 2004 and don't post much. People don't like hearing other than praise for dabo etc without getting upset.
However, there are a few of you who have been around awhile and actually enjoy a bit of real conversation.
