Who besides me would take a 1 point win over FSU right now

I know they have been down, but the stakes are high next week. They have a little positive momentum, film from last week, two weeks to prepare, and (like UNC) really have little to play for except to ruin our season. There is also the matter of a 4-game losing streak to us and 59-10 beat down at home last year.
We have a bit of a bloody nose from last week, haven't hit our stride, have been defiant toward the media all week as they pile on the criticism, and probably have to win out to make the CFP again.
The whole country, and especially the media, will be all in for FSU to support the national narrative.
I believe we get it done comfortably, and change that national narrative with a stellar performance in all phases...but am still a firm believer in "just win, baby...win".

We will crush FSU. Their OL is still crap.

I will always take a 1 pt win, but this one won't be that close. FSU will play hard early, then get hit in the mouth and their lack of character shows up and we pull away in the second half. Unlike UNC, FSU will have our full attention.

I will want to beat them by 77.

No. A one-point win at home would verify something is wrong.
Fortunately, we don't have to worry about this. FSU's lines are not good and will be dominated.

I would be very disappointed with a 1 point win, at home, against this bunch. But I'd be happy we won.

If we're only beating mediocre teams like UNC and FSU

by 1 point, that tells me we're not a true national title contender. One such slip-up is understandable. Teams have off games where they have bad luck, aren't focused, or whatever, but coming off of a bye week, at home, and against a big-name program/rival in FSU, there's really no excuse for us. If we're a true national title contender we should go in and win the game by 14+, if not more.
Basically, if we only win by 1 point, I will be happy that we won, but my expectations for the rest of the season will be tempered.

If we come out of a bye week, and only beat a terrible team

like FSU by one point, our post season hopes really are in trouble. We must not get into the habit of playing down to the competition. I would call that "Tommying". Next step would be for Dabo to start eating grass. This must not be allowed to happen.

Similar to the Tigers and Deacons, believe it or not, the Seminoles are also in complete control of their own destiny in the Atlantic division race to play in the ACCCG.

Hence "little" to play for instead of "nothing"

They are out of the CFP race; I guess they would take some consolation in an ACC Championship, but we wouldn't

With the lows they've seen lately, they would be thrilled to play in the ACCCG and knock us off our pedestal in the conference and most likely out of a spot in the CFP.

If that happens...

this team will rapidly be accused of playing down to its competition.
It would also be hard to argue the point to the contrary.

I don't see two mediocre performances in a row. Clemson will win big time over FSPU.

I would, but it would have to have a good story line like, global thermo-nuclear war broke out in the first quarter, the rapture, or game called because dipping dots ran out.
