Brother, can you spare a point?

Sep 17, 2021, 9:21 AM

I just noticed I am within close striking distance of 18000 of those elusive TNet points. AS such, I have no problem being a point Horah at this time. Who can be the esteemed Lady or Gentleman who gets me to this lofty summit? Thanks in Advance to all who help, and for the rest of you, you know who you are, and have a nice day anyhow. :)

How are we supposed to know

that he won't just spend it on cheap booze?

Because cheap booze can end you up like this old song:

That's true. It happened to me once, fall semester of my freshman year.

Then a couple times the next spring, and 2-3 times when I was a sophmore.

Eventually my taste in booze improved.

Nah, I am too DEcrepit and REtired to do that!

I literally thank God daily that I got retired before this Covid scourge came along. Working a job, ANY job, has got to be doubly aggravating in these circumstances.

It is aggrivating

Sep 17, 2021, 10:00 AM

But I thank God daily as well for the job, just a few more years, and I'll be joining you to enjoy the fruits of my labors. Actually the Covid thing is a mixed blessing. My staff has been working from home for a year and a half now, and I don't miss the interpersonal stuff. But not being able to communicate directly can be vexing. But then again the pasture grass is greening, looking forward to that chapter.
