was preordained out of high school. As long as he didn't get totally destroyed injury wise in college, he was always going to go in the Top 10. Performance in college didn't really seem to matter a lot. I don't know why there are certain ones that are like that, it just seems to be a fact of life.

Yes it does. And everyone wants to compare him with jj watts. Sad that he'll probably end up at Houston. The family was really hoping he'd end up in the northeast.

I think his measurements and speed are a major factor. That and his motor. Scouts really love his shuttle time. He goes horizontal quick. One thing that holds Davis back is he's a typical straight line rusher but lacks some quickness chasing down runners from tackle to sidelines. Hoping TD can improve that aspect and he'll get into the top 20 conversation next year.

Grady is very similar as a physical inside presence and he has been unbelievable in the NFL. I expect Davis to have similar success for a team looking to box up the opposing run game. Bryan and Mr Murphy will be utilized more in pass rush. I think all 3 will have success in the pros and im happy Davis is staying. Go Tigers!!!

I would take Bresee and Simpson (and maybe a few others) before I would draft Murphy ...... for reasons obvious to me.

college ball at Clemson but this notion that’s he’s a first round lock has me scratching my head….
Please tell me the big games where #11 stepped up and took over the trenches in a big Clemson win

I certainly am not any expert, but if I were an owner or an NFL decision maker I think I’d want to see him complete a season before I took him as my first round pick. I leave it to the experts, though, and I hope he balls out for a long career.

Also fought injuries the past two years -- when and if healthy Bresee, Murphy and Simpson will have tremendous pro careers. Bank it!
