And this idiot is why we LOVE Coach V. He is way above some moronic player “sign with Clemson and transfer out” scheme. Try selling that to players and parents on the couch. “So what you’re gonna do is, commit to Clemson and then sign on for early enrollment and when I say the word, you enter the portal and announce OK. There will be scholarships waiting on you and Dabo is all cool on board with this, he loves scrambling for replacements at the last minute.”

Coach Venables is a loyal person. But, even so, Clemson and Oklahoma do not recruit the same talent pool. I don't think I can recall any instance where a recruit got down to their final couple of teams and it was us vs them.
