It's being reported that he will be an offensive analyst at UGA. I know he was canned at Clemson recently maybe he's trying to rehabilitate his rep. Don't know much about him.

Clemson just hired an OC who was a busted coverage away from Kirby beating 65-0, on the biggest stage in the sport, and with a first round WR and Heisman caliber QB.

Bobo is an excellent OC. His prior UGA teams averaged more points scored when he was the OC than Monken just did and he had FAR less talent then than he has now.
In other words, UGA will be just fine whomever is the OC.

Sure there was a talent gap. You think Ga Tech, Auburn, or Kent State, all of whom managed more points, were closer in talent to UGA than TCU?
Riley may be great at Clemson. Buy all these posts suggesting Kirby needs to hire Streeter for some kind of recruiting advantage are ridiculous.

I can't speak to Streeter's abilities to coach. It had to be difficult for him to call plays with a QB who couldn't complete a pass.

Glad he landed somewhere close by. Not too happy it was UGA. Not sure how much influence an analyst has but he certainly didn't generate a lot of excitement around our offense.
With BoBo as the OC, I am not sure what Kirby is trying to do offensively. You could certainly see a significant drop off offensively for UGA this year.

We play y'all in the season opener next year.
Both teams will likely be in the playoff this year by nature; Clemson vs. UGA in the national title game is a sincere possibility.
My greatest concern is losing to y'all in back-to-back games all while we're still paying Streeter's salary.

This may be crazy but according to Dabo Swinney Streeter is an amazing employee with all the intelligence needed for an offensive position. Unfortunately he wasn't ready to be an offensive coordinator at the top of his profession. Since Dabo said best is the standard it was appropriate to relieve him of his duties since he wasn't going to step down to a minor roll with a large pay cut. He seems like a decent coach who did make improvements to the Clemson office. Imho he was too personally invested in DJU and didn't get Cole in a position to be the starter when he should have gotten more 1st team reps.

I know it's across two separate seasons, but still. A man can dream, I suppose.
Streeter is still a steal for Georgia since we're still paying his salary, but I'm more excited about how this makes our future matchup with UGA even more interesting.
