Having a nice year, 3 homers 9 RBI and hitting .300.

Was Seth Beer a Monty guy or Jack ???? Time flies anymore and I can’t remember who got him to Clemson

Thanks, and makes a lot of sense. Monty simply hasn’t been able to get it done.

No way Clemson baseball should ever have a losing season. If he gets another year, and he most likely will, the standard has to be raised. Players not getting it done falls on the shoulders of coaching, primarily head coaches. Omaha is a distant memory and not a destination expectation anymore, sadly!!

His question was who got him to Clemson and I believe the honest answer is Coach Leggett considering he was recruited by and committed to Clemson while he was coach.

I agree. He was committed to Clemson before JL was released. Beer didn’t waiver however, on his commitment.

At least that’s how I remember it.

That is true. It would have been interesting to see what coach Leggett could have done with Beer. He is still stuck in the farm system.

We lost Cal Raleigh for sure because of Leggett being fired but we also had a chance at Cornelius Randolph who was committed but opted to sign. Would have been Jack’s best class in a long time. Monte Lee’s team
RPI has finished lower every year. We’re currently 60. Jack never had a team below 48. And we were 26 the one time he was left out of tourney.
