and we were up 12-1, so I finished up the 3rd pick up truck load and decided to go to Wren and hit the steps. I swear, by the time I had run up and down 9 flights of steps it was 12-7. Then an older couple walked up and they are Clemson fans too. So, was updating them...When it got the point where we were up 3,12-9 and the Jackets had 2 on base with the #1 Homerun Hitter in the country at the plate.....well, that came closer to giving me a heart attack than running ever did....Whew boy!
be traced back DIRECTLY to high school football, but not from running or being hit. It happened because of ANOTHER thing we all hated, the dreaded "six inch leg lift and hold" exercise. You all know it, the one where the coaches have you lay flat on your back, with your legs extended all the way out, then pick them up six inches off the floor, hold as long as you can, and "pound on your stomach muscles"!
I shot the L3/L4 disc out one side, and the L4/L5 disc out the other, and was immediately "paralyzed" (total loss of feeling) from the waist down. I wasn't truly paralyzed, Thank God. I gradually recovered feeling and movement over the next several weeks, until I got back to "normal". Butt, for me, "normal" was never truly NORMAL again from that point on.
