I hate the fact Bowden was brought in mainly to project a positive image and it took nine and a half seasons before the admin realized he'd never get past 4 losses a year. But I also don't wanna give the general public the idea that we are spoiled in the light of all the positive press for Clemson and all the money the university is getting from donations. I'm satisfied that we won against a few anti-football forces in and around Clemson that carried a lot of weight with their anti-football opinions and that the results now clearly show a good football program leads to millions more in donations to academics at Clemson. Missouri lost millions in academic donations last year because their football team went from 2-time-consecutive SEC East champion to a 5-7 record.
