Bourbon Festival

FYI - there is a bourbon festival going on this weekend. One of my sales reps lives in Bardstown, about 30 minutes from Louisville. That's where Makers and Beam are located, and perhaps others.
I don't have a link or anything but google bourbon festival and you may find an event that appeals to your situation.

Went there two years ago, to Bardstown. There's a craft fair where many of the distillers have tents. there's a beer garden. Great fried chicken at Mrs. Kurtz' restaurant. More than great bread pudding at the old tavern in downtown.Really a good side trip.

We have a Bourbon Festival at our tailgating spot before every game in Death Valley.

Two years ago, the Clemson vs. Pizza Boys game was on Thursday. We drove to Bardstown on Friday and spent the night there for the Bourbon Festival on Friday and Saturday. It was a good time with lots of choices in the "Bourbon Garden" which also included beer...may favorite was the "Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale" and I brought two cases of it home.
We had dozens of Kentucky Wildcat fans come to us and thank us for beating Louisville. The Cardinal fans must have been hiding themselves after getting beat as we saw ZERO of them at the Bourbon Festival.
If you go, park at the VFW building, pay $10 and get $1 beer inside their building...saved a lot of money on beer that way.
