Where are the little known beaches/communities that should still be available? Just want it in June or July. South NC or North Georgia beaches OK.

Love it there. Best relaxing vacation I ever had. It is quite a drive though, going through those small towns (Kingston, etc).

Wrightsville Beach , NC, and as mentioned, Atlantic Beach. Not that many good restaurants but you can find some in Wilmington or Morehead.

If you want to avoid crowds, stay away from Folly, Sullivans, and IOP. Those can get pretty hectic in the summer months.

Again. Check out Port Royal. It’s near Beaufort SC. Has great family owned restaurants, small and quaint. Go there every year memorial week. It’s a must.

And since it is private, you avoid the crowds that someone mentioned in earlier post.
I’ve done two long weekends there annually for years (3 or 4 nights each stay).

Off exit 13 on US17. Beaches were just renourished and are nice and wide! Laid back island - no condos. Not a lot of commercial on Island. Good access to groceries (Food Lion) and drug store (Walgreens) just off island.
Very affordable rental rates. Contact Vacasa.

Tybee island just off savannah. Great small town feel sans high rises. Harbor island small development between Beaufort and Fripp.
