Blatant Postgame Interview Bias

Jan 6, 2014, 12:00 PM

Interesting revelation of pro-SEC bias in the post game interview with Tajh and Sammy. ESPN guy asks for their prediction of who's going to win Monday night. They answer in unison "ACC". Yet the closed captioning says "SEC". Then the announcer suggests that they answered ACC to avoid making Jameis Winston mad, as if that's the only rational explanation for not choosing Auburn. I'm finally beginning to see what you conspiracy theorists have been yelling about.

Responded to dabo's comment on being the only bcs winners from SC before the old ball sack had a chance?

I didn't get back to my hotel until 3 a.m. but by that time they already had the 5 straight loss graphic up. How long did that take em?

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Hoping Fox's sports network will be much less biases and put

ESPN where they belong for being a biased media outlet. Maybe NBC Sports will do it or even CBS but with all these new sports networks coming out ESPN is picking a bad time to start spewing out this yellow journalism

Fox Sports has a contract with the SEC, so it's not going...

to happen there. Better bank on NBC sports or CBS sports.

It's not a conspiracy theory, when for 8 years ESPN has...

been overhyping the SEC. ESPN also covers the NFL extensively. And if you look at NFL rosters and the best players at each position, a lot of them didn't play in the SEC. Each year in the combine most of the players with the fastest 40 times are from teams outside the SEC. What colleges did last years Super Bowl starting QB's play at? Delaware and Nevada.

Over the past 25 years how many SEC QB's have had quality NFL careers? Only two, and that's the Manning Brothers. Jay Cutler is kind of in the in between category of decent to good. Cam Newton most likely will continue to be good. But still the fact is if the SEC is so great why don't they produce more good NFL QB's? Only one of the NFL's elite running backs played in the SEC, Arian Foster.
